Get to know Bagua
This 2 year online program will cover the energetics, internal alchemy, sitting, standing, walking, and medical qigong integrated within this very old form of Daoist Bagua Palm orginating from Mt. Qingcheng in China. This system is said to predate Dong Hai Chuan modern Bagua and it's origins are said to go back to Lao Tzu, and Zhang Liang back over 2000 years ago.
A Spiritual Art
Daoist Bagua Palm is, above all, an art of Wind and Water. Wind symbolizes change and movement, while Water teaches us to follow its flow and adapt. This practice is designed to help you navigate change and is closely connected to the I Ching, or “Book of Changes.” We follow the pre-heaven gua (trigram) arrangement, beginning with Sky/Heaven, Earth, Thunder and Lightning, Fire, Water, Wind, and Lake, and concluding with Mountain/Volcano. Each gua represents a fundamental energy that can be experienced between Earth and Sky. Once you understand each gua, you can combine them to create 64 more complex gua, representing the many combinations of energy on Earth. Each gua influences how you think and breathe, as well as different organs in your body. This is an ideal practice for those seeking inner transformation while staying grounded.
